I just happen to come across this seller on Etsy today and noticed that she was selling digital sheets of artwork for people to download and use for whatever they wanted. I also noticed that many of the images were images that I had fav'ed or seen on DA and knew they were copyrighted and not supposed to be used. I just wanted to post the link and give everyone a chance to look through the gallery and see if your art happened to be on there as I don't have a way to reach every artist, despite knowing I have seen the art around the internet. I did contact the seller already and she took down one listing stating that she was not aware where her "business partners" got the images from but claims in every post that she is selling her own digital artwork. I would be upset if someone was making money from my art, so please check it out and pass it around if you see someone's work you know. I have reported to Etsy the pieces of work I know to be copyrighted to someone else. Make sure to check her sold items too as she may have sold something already and it isn't posted in her new items.
so annoying.
[link]EDIT: so the seller seems to have taken down all the listings that I mentioned had stolen art in them. HOWEVER, you can still see hat she has sold some of them in her sold items list. I have heard back from some of the artists and where they have all reported this to Etsy (maybe more), the thing that maybe people aren't thinking about is the people this person sold the stolen work to. These people didn't do anything wrong, but if they plan to make jewelry from this stolen artwork, then there is another issue - more money that the artist is not getting. I get upset about this sort of thing because I know it's stupid people doing stupid things. And I think they should be called out for what they do. Anyways...
